How to get the
most out of our
Instructional Programs:
1.
Bring a list of the 3
most important areas
you need to work on.
The next time you run into difficulty write it down. As you see
patterns develop and aren't sure how to resolve them, add them
to your list. Then, bring your list with you so we can go over
it and learn the answers to these and other hard to solve problems. |
2.
Bring a coach, a parent
or both if possible.
With someone to sit in during the Program, (especially in the
off-ice sessions) when you go back to your team you will have
someone to talk to who can understand and relate to what you are
talking about. They in turn can reinforce you consistently with
what you learned at the Program. |
3.
Take good notes.
This will help you to better retain new information and skills.
It will also provide you with a comprehensive reference you can
use at a later date, during your season. |
